Classes start from £60 per session. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, or with any major credit or debit card. We regret that we do not accept American Express. Cancellations and appointment changes may be made without charge up to 24 hours before the session.

Styles

We offer many styles and will build our sessions around your needs, but here are just a few of our classes;

Yin Yoga: This is a slow, deliberate and meditative class which focuses on lengthening the bodys deep connective tissue, while using minimal muscle engagement and breath control. Each posture is held for extended periods to encourage a deep release. This Taoist Yoga practice helps to open the body's energy pathways, particularly though the hips, pelvis and lower spine. It is also very useful for bring the mind to stillness. This is an all seated relaxation practice.

Ashtanga & Vinyasa Yoga: This is suggested for students interested in a more dynamic practice of yoga. This vinyasa style class is based on the some of the teachings of Shri K. Pattabhi Jois, and takes some of the poses from the Primary Series. Also includes balances, pranayama. It is a great class for those looking for a challenge. While balancing strength and flexibility develop a concentrated clear and focused mind.

Hatha Raja Yoga: The Hatha-Raja class is a sequence of moderate postures practiced in a slow and mindful way in conjunction with the sonorous Brahmaree Pranayama (honey bee breath). The intention in this class is to lengthen the breath in the postures with sound. It emphasizes postures that influence the pineal and pituitary glands of the brain helping to bring the mind to a calm and uplifted state. The class concludes with 15 minutes of meditation. It is excellent for anyone wishing to release stress and increase pranic awareness through sound, movement and meditation. are all Hatha yoga.

Pre-natal Yoga: Linking yoga postures with the breath will lead you to new discoveries, bringing awareness to the mind, body and spirit, and also the spirit of your baby. The program, conducted in a calm, peaceful environment will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. Yoga can also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. A safe, open community allows you to freely discuss any issues, from discomforts and concerns, to the wonderful new changes your body and baby are experiencing.
